Wedding Rental Guidelines

Rental
As part of our mission at Green Roof Farm, we never want our clients to feel rushed or confined to a certain day/time.

For wedding rentals, our clients get the freedom of the entire weekend!  Start setting up on Friday and wrap things up by Sunday.
A $250 deposit will be due at time of booking.  This deposit will be refunded after the event if venue is left in good condition.
Full payment is due 120 days prior to event.

We do offer off-season special rates and military discounts!

Vendors
As our client, you are free to choose any vendor of your liking.  Green Roof Farm

provides only the venue space.  Although we do not endorse any one vendor, we

are happy to provide a list of area vendors and recommendations.

Smoking/Open Flame

All open flames inside the barn are strictly prohibited. This includes smoking, candles, sparklers, etc.
If your caterer requires a flame for indoor cooking, this will need to be pre-approved.
Outdoor grills are welcome.
No open fire pits unless in the designated area.
There is a designated outdoor smoking area for your use.  Please ensure your guests only smoke in the

designated area as this is an extreme fire hazard.

Outdoor Cooking Shed/Fireplace
If you would like to use the outdoor fireplace, please inquire.  Guests must provide their own wood.

Parking
Parking will be limited to the designated area.  Parking on the main road will be strictly prohibited.

Please ensure your guest follow the parking guidelines.  We do not provide parking attendants.

Music
All types of music are welcome.  All activities, including music, must stop by 11:00 p.m.

We have a dance floor, bar and stage  for your use.

Set-up/Clean-up
You are welcome to start setting up Friday.  The venue is also yours until 10:00 p.m. to use for rehearsal/dinner.

If you choose to have your rehearsal dinner at the venue, please let us know in advance.
All activities, including music must stop by 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Guests will need to leave at this time.

You will have the venue until 12:00 midnight for clean-up purposes only.
If you have rented items (tables, chairs, catering, etc.) the rental companies must remove their equipment by 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

You are welcome to come clean-up Sunday until noon if you chose to do so.
Green Roof Farm is not responsible for any items left overnight.
Trash needs to be bagged and carried off site.

Bridal Suite/Calhoun House
The use of the Calhoun House is part of your rental.  This is a great space for a bride and her bridesmaids.

There are two small rooms and a restroom.

Photography
You are welcome to use the venue for your engagement/bridal portraits.  Please contact us for arrangements.

General Rules of the Property
You are welcome to bring in any decorations of your choosing.  However, please be mindful not to use nails, screws

We are very much a "DIY" venue and encourage you to bring in an event/wedding planner if you need additional help.
